Figure 8: The Large Synoptic Survey Telescope (with the initials LSST) is a project of reflecting telescope capable of carrying out an observational campaign (survey) photographing the entire night skyline of the southern hemisphere, visible from the north of Chile, providing detailed information of the night sky not only in space but also temporally. The works officially started on April 14th 2015 with the ceremonial laying of the first stone and should end in 2022 with full operation in 2023.
