An orange light beam can have a non-monochromatic spectrum, as it can be obtained, for example, by additive synthesis of green and red,
or by subtractive synthesis of magenta and yellow.
I add that the orange moves like a few colors and was rightly considered
from the ancient Romans the color of Love and sins of gluttony !!
