Then, according to a subsequent agreement, it was preached in Santa Maria in the first and second week continuously, while the preaching of the Annunciation was done in the homonymous Church, as well as that of St. Benedict.
The preaching of the Bull of the Holy Crusade, which lasted three days, was instead made in San Nicolò. Then, the first Procession of Vocations, which took place on Monday, went to St. Peter's; the second, on Tuesday, in San Giovanni; the third, on Wednesday, in Sant'Antonio Abbate.
On Palm Sunday the procession went to St. Antonio Abbate, but it did not enter the church, so the altar was prepared on the floor in front of the south gate and the antiphons were recited in verses and the Orations of the Saint.
