Colors: A Sestina
Justin Silverio
His eyes are blue
His skin was fair
His cheeks were once red
His teeth are now yellow
His hair also brown
And his clothes completely black.
Before, his glasses were black
The sea clear blue
The umbrella brown
And the mini fridge white.
The hot sun yellow
And everybody's skin red.
His pimples were red
His thoughts completely dark
His smile used to be yellow
But in reality he was thoughtlessly blue.
Outside himself was white
But inside he was clear brown.
He found a girl who was also brown
And when they met, both turned red.
Finding themselves in a world full of white
They touched, in the dark
And after thoughts that were blue,
They decided to have a small yellow.
