Negativity causes me to have worries,
Thinking about why I'm hearing and
seeing it, and what if it happens to me?
Bothering me about all the images of all types of negativity,
Close to getting me to hold grudges before
I could lose my temper and have bad intensity.
But you know what? I ain’t giving up now,
'Cause all the negativity in society cannot bring me down.
I need to stay positive, be happy,
control my emotions, smile, and not frown.
I gotta focus and think about positivity
and good things that are happening now
I gotta let it go, not think and talk about it,
and let it be the past
Cause all the negativity and bad mistakes
will be gone and never last
And it’s not easy, it’s really hard
When it takes me 10 to 30 minutes to breathe
and get the positivity and happiness back
In music, I just gotta keep going and not give up.
All the mistakes: I fix ‘em and not give up!
God help me, I need to keep myself up,
'Cause when I’m feeling down, I’m going to get myself up!
