Nikki

Nicholas Wilkerson

[Day 1]

She used to go to my school, but was kicked out because she was apparently a “public disturbance.” To be honest, I didn’t think that was fair. I may have been biased back then though because I’ve loved her since the day my lips touched hers. We never had the same classes, so I enjoyed the thrill of skipping math to see her. Even though I could barely take her on dates because of all the trouble she’d caused, I still tried. However, nobody wanted to let her into their establishment. That didn’t matter to me though because I loved Nikki. She was my everything.

[Day 50]

Why didn’t anyone accept her? I didn’t understand it. She hadn't had a great life, and yet people just despised her. Even my parents: “Be careful hanging out with Nikki; I heard she may have killed some people.” They had so many issues with her and, frankly, I’m exasperated. Today they yelled at me because I smelled like her and they hate her smell. Her scent lit up a room to me though. Especially when she wore that tight white sweater that kept her all wrapped up and warm during the winter. They told me I had to break up with her, but it wasn’t a problem; I just snuck out.
