Achieving the impossible!
»»It may seem like
impossibility, but Surrey
based PS Locks has developed
with the aid of its European
manufacturing partners, an
incredible unique invisible
lock, which took MLA Expo by
storm this year.
The simple, but effective
technology used on the
invisible lock, is battery
operated and offers different
types of locking solutions; the
10Ten - keypad lock which
can be programmed each
opening by the user, ideal for
safes, gyms and lockers or
with a permanent code for
regular use, the Solo – which
can be fitted wireless on any
material and uses a RFID
chip, programmed to lock the
device using a fob/card, or the
DUO invisible mortise door
lock, useful for fitting rooms,
stockrooms or office doors
and finally the ONE and TWO
Locks which are designed for
sliding doors.
The locks can be retrofitted behind or inside its
application of choice and
uses a variety of cards or fobs,

including waterproof fobs for
wet areas, to access the locked
unit.
The product, which was
demonstrated eloquently
by general manager, Paul
Newbury, attracted interest
from many visitors at the show,
because of ingenious but
simplistic functionality, and
its five year backed warranty,
25,000 cycles per battery and
an abundance of accessories
to help the lock suitable for a
variety of applications, the lock
is an attractive option for retrofitting purposes.
Paul commented: “This was
the first time we had exhibited
at the show and it proved to
be a good call. We know that
there are many applications
for the lock and although our
main routes to market tend
to be in areas such as retail or
government applications, we
know there is a call for simple
fitting security devices within
the locksmith industry.”
