YEAR OF CHANGE FOR UNION
As the construction industry has
emerged from the recession, UNION
part of Security Solutions, a division
of ASSA ABLOY UK, has supported its
customers in developing their sales over
2014. Tina Hughan, Marketing Director
at ASSA ABLOY UK reflects on what has
been a year of change for the brand.
“This year Security Solutions announced
its intent to solely focus on its trade
customers and appointed Eryl Jones as the
new Managing Director to lead the way.
Eryl Jones has begun to bring his wealth
of experience to the UNION, Adams Rite,
ASSA, Trimec® and Pemko brands.
Over the year, Security Solutions has
improved its I.T and telephone systems
and is further developing its e-catalogues,
providing better customer service and
making information on products easily
accessible.

UNION also produced ‘how-to’ videos
for its Eximo® exit device range, to offer
installers step-by-step instructions,
highlighting the ranges unique features,
and making their jobs easier.
UNION has also further enhanced the
StrongBOLT® range, enabling installers to
save time when fitting locks to all projects,
from bathrooms, to front doors.
