HARDWARE&SECURITY SPONSORED BY EURO ARCHITECTURAL HARDWARE 3D Group raises over £2500 for Movember UK At the start of November the men of 3D Group set out to raise £2000 for men’s health charities by growing their moustaches for an entire month. We convinced the MD to donate £5 for each order our customers placed that was over £200 +VAT, we begged our nearest and dearest to donate what they could, and we made sure everyone knew that we were growing our lip cozies for a damn good reason. Moustache growth made slow progress in the early days, many of the chaps took some flak for their non-visible soup strainers but regardless they persevered for the greater good. We documented every stage of facial hair growth with photo evidence which was publicly posted on our Movember web page www.3dgroupuk.com/movember so that supporters could see our progress and offer words of encouragement. “With the majority of people working in the auto locksmith industry being male we wanted to do something that would help raise awareness of the important men’s health issues. Being involved in Movember was a brilliant way of achieving this as well as injecting a little fun into the office.” – Dean Sanderson, 3D Group Director The whole purpose of Movember is to get men talking about men’s health issues such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer and men’s mental health. By the end of ‘Movember’ not only did our Mo Bro’s impressive moustaches manage to start some interesting conversations but our efforts culminated in us raising £2599. We smashed our original fundraising target and we are so proud of what we have achieved. We wanted to thank all of our customers, suppliers, friends and family for your generous support.
