MIPS 2015 welcomes 100
new companies to Moscow
»»More than 430 companies from
22 countries exhibited at MIPS, the 21st
international exhibition on protection,
security and fire safety which took place in
Moscow’s VDNKh in April.
Despite the slowing rate of development
of the Russian economy in general, over
the coming years the security market is
expected to grow. MIPS serves to confirm
these trends — this year, the exhibition
space was kept in its entirety, with over
100 new companies exhibiting and
national stands from China and Taiwan.
Exhibitors presented their advanced
technical developments in CCTV and
video surveillance; Fire-safety, rescue
equipment, and occupational health and
safety; Integrated security systems and
perimeter protection.

cities including: Axis Communications,
Avigilon Corporation, HID Global, ITV |

A number of Russian companies which
exhibited at MIPS export to other countries.
MIPS 2015’s general partner was once
again Beward, the Russian developer and
manufacturer of IP video cameras.
MIPS has been rebranded for 2016
and will be called MIPS / Securika. The
next edition of the event will take place
on 14-17 March 2016 at Expo Centre in
Moscow.
