Samantha and Nicola Rutter
from Bootle (Merseyside)
based NW Keys attended
the Just Car show 2014 in
Orlando this year, after being
invited by the host, Jim
Hetchler. Here they give their
impressions of the Show:
“The venue itself was fantastic, large,
bright and very welcoming, which
more or less also describes the many
attendees we met at the show!
“The two day event was very well
attended on both days and was a hive of
activity from start to finish. The locksmiths
share an absolute passion for their work
and eagerly gathered to view and buy
lots of new gadgets, machines etc that
were being launched at this show as well
as sharing plenty of banter with their
suppliers.
“It was a great show and a credit to Jim
and all the organisers of this event. Also a
BIG thank you from Nicola and myself to
Kem Howden of Intelligent Key Solutions
for allowing us to share their stand. We
totally enjoyed the whole experience.”
North West Key Services were
established in 1980 by Jim Rutter. Initially
based around Merseyside and North
Wales, stock was held and supplied from
the back of a small van. Samantha Rutter
joined the company in 1984 when a shop
was purchased in Stanley Rd, Liverpool to
create both a retail key cutting centre and
a stock warehouse. Continuing the family
tradition, June Rutter joined the company
in 1987, overseeing administration and
accounts.
With the acquisition of electronic key
cutting machinery and the back up of high
volume key blanks the firm’s reputation
grew as a specialist key cutting centre.
When Nicola Rutter joined in 1987, she
introduced the auto locksmithing service
to the company.
