KEYPRINT TAKES THE HIGH ROAD ( OR WILL IT BE THE LOW ROAD ?) TO LOCKEX
Edinburgh security specialists Keyprint is getting ready for Lockex 2018 – Security & Fire Safety by organising a range of products and working demonstrations in time for the show in June .

KEYPRINT , WHICH began in 1980 as a newspaper shop-turned key cutting service , has grown over the last 38 years to become a leading supplier for locksmiths , architectural ironmongers , security , hardware , and OEM customers . As a wholesaler , its global client base includes names such as Assa Abloy , Peterson Tools , and Allegion , with over 9000 product lines housed at its purpose-built warehouse and showroom , which has been in use since 1996 .
Ten years ago , Keyprint also launched a training academy with courses that incorporate the practical and theoretical side of : key cutting technique and equipment , uPVC locks , cylinder locks , access control , plus various other opening tips and tricks from the traditional to modern day .
This combination of product knowledge and teaching acumen is exactly what has kept Keyprint at the forefront of the industry for almost four decades , so a stop off at its Lockex stand this June will not leave visitors disappointed .
Expect to see a wide range of cylinder systems , opening tools , and key cutting machines on display , plus automotive key programming and high security van locks , with working demonstrations from Keyprint ’ s expert team across the weekend .
Returning to Lockex for the second time this year , when asked what was the best part about the first show in 2016 , Keyprint ’ s own Farid Jiwa replied ; “ the exhibition was very well organised and exhibitors very well looked after .”
This year , Keyprint is looking forward to meeting old friends and new , and looking to attract locksmiths , auto lockmiths , plus representatives from the emergency services .
