From dream to reality

Eclectic Security Ltd, reports on the recent
open day on Saturday 4th February at the
company’s training unit in Ollerton…
“With a little hesitation, myself and
Managing Director, Brian Mcaleer,
planned the open day, and as it drew
closer we felt like two kids at a party
wondering if anybody else would turn up.
“And as Saturday morning got into full
swing we were overwhelmed with the
response of people from the trade who
were keen to see the progress at Eclectic.
“Over 40 people turned up to our Open
Day to look at our training facilities and
future courses. From locksmiths to the
uPVC installers, maintenance teams and
even keen DIY enthusiasts.
“The feedback was all positive and
we had lots of conversations about the
opportunities that the courses can offer to
the market, as well as all other suggestions
for possible new courses, so let’s see what
we can make happen in the future.

and new challenges commencing. There
were plenty of photos on the day, maybe
you can spot yourself in one of them.

to turn up. It makes all the hard work so
much more rewarding.

“A big thank you must also go to Paxton,
Aldridge’s, Videx, and particularly the
catering team. Without their support, we
would be looking at quiet day at Eclectic
Security.
“Now we have a focus that hopefully,
with the UPVC and locksmith
communities support, will see Eclectic
Security grow from strength-to-strength.”
“It has taken a few years to get this far,
from one man’s dream to this reality.
There are still things to be done, but we
will be hosting more events in 2017, by
which time the Access Control course
will be in full flow. We look forward to
