HUGH, PLEASE TELL US A
BIT ABOUT EVERSAFE…
The Eversafe system is a
way to securely lock down
items by attaching them
to an Eversafe SafeDock –
which is locked to any fixed
floor – or onto a floating
dock simply by dropping
on of our backpacks, cases
or boxes onto it. Once on a
SafeDock, the only way to get
it off is with a personal code,
to get into the bag or box,
and then you can release it
from the SafeDock. However,
the hard case box – which
is like a brief case – uses
patented solenoids that will
retract inside the case (with
the code) so if you’re in a
meeting or restaurant or
airport, you can dock it and
release it without having to
open the case at all.
WHAT IS THE EVERSAFE
BACKPACK?
The Eversafe Backpack
is secure and cut-proof;
operating on the SafeDock
system, just like all of our
products, and it features a
manual release, which means
it does not need batteries.
This is very important
due to travel restrictions
- that have come forward
LOCKSMITHJOURNAL.CO.UK | JUL/AUG 2018
Sponsored by APECS
very recently - regarding
batteries on airplanes, so the
backpack has been designed
specifically for the protection
of electronics and valuables
while you are travelling. The
Backpack also features a
patent-pending system for
alternative locking which
would utilise cable locks
embedded into the straps
that could fix the bag to a
post, rail, or even a tree, and
no-one would one would be
able to remove it nor cut it
because of the materials it is
constructed with.
WHO IS EVERSAFE FOR?
The Eversafe system
would be suitable for anyone
that wishes to protect their
personal property, and we
would like to see SafeDocks in
hotels, airports, train stations,
hospitals, offices, and many
more locations. However,
there is also a keen interest
in the product from security
consultants in the government
sector, particularly with new
data protection laws which
mean anything with anyone’s
personal data information
needs to be kept completely
secure.
