INSAFE ’ S STAND AT LOCKEX WAS impossible to miss , decked out in the company ’ s signature purple branding , and taking up a sizeable corner just to the right of the exhibition ’ s main entrance .
Returning to Lockex 2018 – Security & Fire Safety for the second time , Insafe chose a larger stand this time to showcase its incredible range of products including designer options with watch winders , jewelery safes with accessory trays , and even models with quilted interiors based on a Range Rover .
Having cited before the show that Lockex would provide the platform to introduce the extended Guardian range of safes , Alan Bullock and his team also displayed bespoke retail safes designed for the Co-op , a model that had been specially created for the Post Office , plus the ubiquitous fire-resistant units ; all of which combine to prove just why the company is UK ’ s leading independent name in safe and safe engineering .
Lockex visitors also had the opportunity get their hands on the new lifestyle brochure and find out more about Insafe ’ s new Loksafe venture , which is an online ‘ trade counter ’ for electrical and mechanical safe locks . “ We ’ ve brought the new mechanical digital door lock to the show this June ; which because of the 90-degree handle rotation , can operate with the majority of multi point locking systems .
“ Despite there being so many doors made up with that type of locking systems now , there are very few mechanical combination locks , that will
operate a multipoint locking system , which means it ’ s very rare product .
“ As such we ’ ve had an awful lot of interest , and there ’ s been a lot of demand for this new lock . In terms of Lockex , we ’ ve had an excellent first morning with some very good quality enquiries , and plenty to follow up on when we get home .”
