AN EVENING
OF ROCK, POP
AND BLUES
AT LOCKEX
»»WITH A PORTFOLIO OF COVER
tracks from Abba to ZZ top and music
from the sixties right through to the
noughties, Six Ton Dog is one of this
year’s highlights at this year’s Lockex
Exhibition.
The band, which originates from North
Wales has a special connection to the
Locksmith industry, with its drummer
being Nicky Rutter, one of the co-owners
of NW Keys Ltd, Liverpool.
Performing for customers and
exhibitors as part of Saturday (17th
September) evening’s entertainment at
the arena, Six Ton Dog will be treating
guests to a special gig from their repertoire
of cover songs including; Stereophonics,
Beatles, Rolling Stones, Kasabian, Kinks,
Radiohead and Coldplay.
Nicky commented on being at Lockex:
“Performing in the band is a great
hobby for me and after booking a stand
at Lockex, I jokingly offered the band’s
services to perform on Saturday evening.
For more information or to
listen to the band go to:
Much to my astonishment they agreed
and now we are really looking forward to
playing our first arena gig!
“We often perform in local pubs and
clubs in and around Flintshire and
Denbighshire. We headline local festivals,
act as support for bands, including
Inspiral Carpets, OMD and Bruce Foxton
- the Jam along with attending and
performing at weddings and parties, so
this is a great chance to perform in front of
a new type of audience – my peers!”
