CROFT ACQUIRES
QUALITY LOCK
COMPANY
Croft Architectural Hardware has announced
the acquisition of the Willenhall-based
Quality Lock Company from Kirkpatrick
Ltd. Both Croft and Quality Lock Company
are long-running well-established
manufacturers of quality British products.
Ownership commenced
on11th July.
As a long-established
manufacturer of high quality
brass rim locks, the Quality
Lock Company complements
the handcrafted brass and
bronze door and window
fittings for which Croft has
been renowned, and which
it has been manufacturing
since 1972.

Nick Clifford of Croft said:
“Both Croft and Quality

companies will have an

DEVELOPMENTS
The acquisition is just one of a
number of other developments
for Croft – which includes the
introduction of a night-shift
within the factory to improve
capacity, a new extension
to the premises and the
introduction of a luxury front
door range available from stock
on a next day delivery.
The purchase of the Quality
Lock Company is another
indication of the substantial
progress being made at
Croft. With plans to improve
manufacturing methods of
products as well as launching
new lines to enable Quality
Lock products to be more
accessible to the distributors
and the end-users, Croft is
optimistic that the Quality Lock
Company will go from strength
to strength.
It will still trade as a separate
company and will continue to
be based at its current location
in Leve Lane, Willenhall for the
remainder of 2014.
All existing customers can
continue to order directly from
the Quality Lock Company,
and Croft will continue to offer
a selection of locks available
in its range of 23 different
finishes.
