In this first issue , we will be showing a Ford Focus Proximity 2011-2014 using the Zedfull key programmer . This style of key cannot be cloned .
Proximity keys are becoming more popular in today ’ s new vehicles but you will see the programming is no more difficult than a standard key programming . Proximity keys are keys that you do not need to put them into an ignition switch and sometimes it is not necessary to remove from your pocket to unlock the door .
This application is easily completed at your premises or by the roadside , no security pin code is required as the tester can bypass the security pin code . There is no 10 minute wait time before programming . No internet is required to complete the process .
The procedure takes a maximum of 15 minutes to programme both the proximity , transponder and cut the emergency key .
Proximity part number . AKRM141 , Emergency blade part number . AKK282 .
TIP … Sometimes keys are supplied with the transponder in the incorrect mode . Check your transponder in the Zedfull before starting and ensure the transponder is 4D , 63 , 80 bit , mode 80 bit .
TIP ... A maximum of 4 keys can be programmed .

Connect the Zedfull to the vehicle via the OBD . Select OBD APPLICATION on the main menu .
Select FORD EU .

As this is an additional key we select : ADD KEY

Zedfull will communicate with the vehicle . After a short period of time Zedfull will display Proximity programmed . Zedfull will ask if you would like to program another Proximity remote .

Select : PROGRAMME PROXIMITY
Zedfull will communicate with the vehicle .

KEY IS PROGRAMMED . Select continue .

If it is a lost key situation you will select Delete Keys .

Zedfull will display instructions that you need to follow .
Once you have programmed the Proximity part of the key , you will need to programme the Transponder part of the key . Remove the plastic cap were you would normally have an ignition barrel on a standard key . Insert the blade in the switch .
