Our ‘best ever’ hardware
range, says Solidor
»»Composite door
company, Solidor, says it is
offering more options for
its products with its antique
hardware range and latest
Winkhaus AV2-B keyless
entry system.
Solidor’s hardware range
gives consumers the option
of keyless locking, traditional
furniture and contemporary
handles. There is also a vast
range of ‘more standardised’
hardware.
The handmade traditional
ironmongery range was
launched in 2012 with options
of handles, knockers and
letterplates in black and
pewter, and sales are said
to have increased steadily,
following the launch of similar
handle options for PVCu
windows.
‘Most impressive”,
according to Solidor, is the
5” ring door knocker, which
makes use of Solidor’s
solid timber core based
slabs. Due to its weight, it
cannot be readily fitted on to
lightweight foam-filled GRP
doors. The handle range
includes Gothic, monkeytail,
Tudor, narrow twist and Avon
options with a matching letter
plate.
