GIVING BACK
Our scholars worked together , in partnership with Feeding Children Everywhere and LOVE Missions , to package just over 11,000 meals for kids their age who are hungry in Haiti .
Often times it ’ s easy to take for granted all of the blessings that we have living here in the United States . Knowing that we have a responsibility to raise globally aware scholars means that we create opportunities for them to develop awareness for what life is like in other parts of the world .
Our High School Bible teacher , Mr . Kile Riggs , has been to the school and orphanage in Haiti where our meals were headed . It was inspiring to hear him share stories of lives that have been changed by love expressed through food .
