The Falling Apart

I am a student in the Digital Gaming and Media program.
“The Falling Apart” is an 18” x 24” collage on newsprint piece
that I created while taking Jason Sobottka’s Human Figure
Drawing class. The concept behind it was at first very
unconscious, but then developed into “what would it feel or look
like if the world was falling apart? What if this was the last
man? etc..” It is also one of my first explorations with abstract
expressionism and found it to be a liberating change from the
realism and naturalism I tend to do in my work.
