that truck. Time went by—I learned how to install carpets and started to make good money, so I established my own business installing carpets. At that time, a lot of bad habits were already part of my life and everything seemed unreal. After several years of parties, alcohol, tobacco, wrong decisions, and bad friends, I lost my business and everything went downhill. Then, in 2009, I found a job in a company named Servpro. This company is recognized for fire and water-cleanup and restoration. Everything was so different from what I had been used to do, but because I had always liked to work hard as my parents taught me, I learned how to do the job very efficiently. My boss was very happy and gave me a raise in the first two months. And there I was again—making good money and once again my dream was moving forward. I bought the truck that I had always dreamed of. A 2005 lifted Toyota Tacoma—it had been lifted six inches with a Pro-Comp suspension, the exhaust system was amazing, and the tires and rims were just incredible. My dream had finally come true.
