Today the snow danced with the wind,
spun and pirouetted, swirled,
barely touched the ground it seemed
as her billowed dress unfurled.
And I envied so the flakes
that joined the dance, happy and free.
This is the chance love always takes,
to tread the wind’s uncertainty.
