Having a baby is an exciting time! So much
anticipation, so much to look forward to. Even the
waiting is waited for. From well before there is a
bump, much thought is given to the growing of
this new person, baby, and well beyond. As
exciting as it is, it can be overwhelming. How does
one truly prepare? What do parents really need as
they embark on bringing a whole new being into
the world?
Drawing on my own personal experience having 6
babies of my own and supporting thousands of
women in caring for their babies, we asked the
Leakies for their input on what products, tips, and

together this guide to help you in your own
journey. This isn’t an exhaustive list, really just
some highlights to get you started and while we
don’t think there’s such thing as any one “best”
anything, we hope to help you figure out what
