Science News The Ogden Trust provides funding to a local ‘Hub’ of schools, in order to promote physics education in schools. We have been lucky enough to be part of the Nottingham Hub for the past two years and this has allowed our students to take part in several events. Here is a summary of this year’s events. ‘Eastenders’ theme tune. This allowed us to see how physics can be used in many aspects of daily life, including music. The overall physics trip experience was great. It was a great way of getting women involved in Physics. Creating music through physics was really interesting. The overall performance that we did went really well and it was great interacting with other students from NTU Music Challenge other schools, who shared the same passions I took a group of Year 10 girls to an event as we did. at Nottingham Trent University, to complete We had a great time and learnt a lot! three challenges about the physics of music.
