Achievement Awards
Evening 2014

On Thursday 10th July, many
people assembled at the Albert
Hall in Nottingham to celebrate the
many successes of our students.
We celebrated success from the
classroom as well as the sporting field and the community. We
see this event as an opportunity
for parents, carers, teachers and
representatives from the community to see the young people of
today in a very positive light. A
large number of students attended
to receive their certificates and
medals, with a significant number
gaining prestigious awards and
these are now on display in the
trophy cabinets in Reception. Take
a look when you visit next time.
As ever, there was a fantastic
display of students’ work which
highlighted
the
work
being
produced throughout the year
in each faculty and many,
including the manager of the venue,
commented on its high quality.
All students who win a subject
achievement award throughout
the year will be invited to next
year’s event which is being held on
July 9th and we would love you
to be there.

The Year 11 Prom proved to be
another successful evening. It
was held at the Derbyshire Hotel on 26th June and students
had a great time. As usual, the
modes of transport were varied
and very entertaining ranging
from a double decker bus to an
armoured car! During the evening,
awards were presented for many
categories such as Best Dressed
student, potential World Cup player 2018, Mr Punctuality, Biggest
Hair! We wish all of our ex Year 11
students well for the future and
look forward to the next Prom
which is on 25th June 2015.
