Visits from an Author and a Poet
We are the first school to host Nottingham author, Kim
Slater. She delivered workshops to 4 classes based on
her debut novel ‘Smart’. Claire Collins, Y8, reports “Kim
Slater came to our school to talk about her book ‘Smart’.
She told us about her inspiration for writing and the story
of her publication. She let us into a secret, her new book!
It’s still being written and I can’t wait until it’s published!”
