Litter Issues
Recently, we have spotted a lot of litter around the school which,
pupils can often forget, is the cause of the seagulls being here!
I am sure we all know someone who has ‘suffered’ at the expense of
a Seagull ‘special delivery’ when moving around the school and it’s
up to us to stop this! Please think before just throwing your litter on
the floor. If you don’t bin it, who will?
Bullying at The Kimberley School
Recently, we sent out a survey for our students to fill in on the topic
of bullying. Thank you to those pupils who participated in the survey.
Two of the most important results we noticed are detailed below:
How far do you agree with the statement:
“Bullying is a problem at The Kimberley School”?
They’re here because of YOU!
Strongly
disagree
“Are you aware of the action to take if you
experience or witness bullying?”
disagree
sometimes
Yes
agree
strongly agree
No
unsure
As you can see, unfortunately over 46% of you
believed that bullying does occur in the school. On
the positive side, you did seem to understand how
serious a problem this is and a huge majority of you
said you knew how to action any bullying that you
witness, as is shown on the right.
Please make sure you remain vigilant when around
school and, if you think anyone is being bullied, do
the right thing and let a member of staff know. It is
everyone’s responsibility to stop this happening. It’s
unacceptable and there is no excuse for bullying.
Ever.
