Year 13 Geography Trip to London 25th-26th January 2015. Year 13 geography
students recently visited London as part of their World Cities module. In an
action-packed two days, they visited Notting Hill to investigate gentrification
and evaluated the success of urban regeneration in East London.
They were able to compare case studies on Stratford and the
developments surrounding the Olympic legacy with earlier
regeneration in Canary Wharf and the London Docklands.
We also managed to fit in a bit of time for sightseeing pictured above are the Tower of London,
Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and
Buckingham Palace.
