Catering News The catering team is currently working with the Business Faculty and had 70 pupils come and talk to them about NCC as a provider to the school, all area of the business from food suppliers, temp control, staffing profit and loss and customer service. They have also been working with some Food Technology students who came along and made fresh pizza, explaining about why we use fresh produce and making it healthy! For further information on school meals please visit: www.kimberleyschool/catering The allotment has been turned into a working kitchen garden that hopes to supply the canteen with some fruit and veg for special dishes at lunchtime. We provided the canteen with 6 kilos of plums from which they made plum crumble and plum pastries - the nurture group were given tasters of the pudding to enjoy! We are currently growing broad beans, onions, potatoes and runner beans for the spring. We also hope to have a variety of herbs and edible flowers available soon as well.
