LRC News Congratulations to our Word Millionaires: Emily Clarkin, Elizabeth O’Donnell, Isobel Roberts, Kira Toplis, Joshua Skinner and Grace Welch. A very big ‘Well Done’ to our Double Word Millionaire - Ella Foster of 7B LXC, who has passed 52 quizzes and read 2,739,460 words in her first term at The Kimberley School. Nightingale News Congratulations Storm Reveley from 8NJW who has won the Barton Buses Christmas card competition. Morgan Gallimore from 9NEI brilliantly played "The last post" on his trumpet for remembrance assembly and for the Kimberley Town remembrance service. Well done to both. Looking forward to seeing our attendance improve and merit totals rise. Mrs Sutter-Hunt & Miss Taylor Nottingham Train Station Opening Ellie Pritchett, Holly Orme and Leah Roulstone attended the Official Nottingham Train Station opening. They were met by VIPs and were treated to a performance from the Robin Hood Youth Orchestra, who played fantastically and were complemented by the organisers, distinguished guests, and audience members. Science Club Science club is on every Wednesday lunch at 12:30 in S6. It is aimed at KS3 students; however, all students and staff are welcome to attend. Science Club is usually themed based on current events e.g. Halloween & Bonfire night. Science club has featured the dissection of a real set of lungs, elephants’ tooth paste and making slime. Most recently in the Bonfire Science Club, we burned splits in different solutions of metal compounds, a whoosh bottle and methane bubbles. Science Club Video
