"For a long time I have been trying to start a daily journal but never got around to it until today. We have been here in Abu Dhabi for 9 months now and it would be nice to remember all we have done and all that has happened to us while we've been here. In ten years’ time or even five years’ time, I will be able to look back at my journal and remember what happened and when it happened, and also how I felt.
Today the red arrows did a display over Abu Dhabi on the corniche, basically in front of our apartment. It was wicked - not what I expected at all. Cornel and I took lots of photos. After dinner, I took the children for a walk along the corniche. The place was busy as usual...
When we got back Derek had been waiting on our return outside because he had forgotten his keys and I had forgotten that he didn't have them. So I’m in the doghouse once again - hence the beginning of another sour evening and morning no doubt"
