STUDENT Council report 2017-18
The year 2017-’18 was an eventful and unforgettable
experience for all of us at Global Public School. It
brought with it a slew of exciting events like Crossroads
and a touching Farewell to commemorate the passing
out of the senior batch, just to name a few.
The Student Council 2017-’18 worked hand in hand
with the school management and student body in
order to ensure that the traditions of Global Public
School were upheld and that any new changes were
ushered in with ease.
Last year’s Crossroads themed “Under the Sea”
was a bubbling success and it helped students of all
participating schools to display their plethora of talents.
The Farewell, themed “Masquerade” had all the seniors
up on their feet, fired up and ready to go. The Student
Council was called upon to display the highest standards
of public conduct in order to uphold the honour of GPS
in this most solemn and elegant ceremony.
The Council conducted trips to children homes for the
mentally challenged and donated essential resources
to them.
The Sports Day, which included the march past, displays
by different groups, and all other sporting events was
an enthralling experience for all those who participated
and witnessed it. The Student Council played its role in
ensuring the smooth conduct of this mega event.
The Student Council 2017-’18 is grateful for the
opportunity that the school and the students have
provided us to discover the leadership skills within
us and to hone our latent management skills too.
The priceless values of camaraderie, honour and
responsibility were the greatest gifts that we have
come away with. We wish the new Student Council all
the best in their future endeavours.
