ON THE COVER 8 The 142nd Annual Meeting of the Arkansas Medical Society was held the first weekend in May at the DeGray Lake Resort State Park in Bismarck. Members came together for business and a celebration of leadership and service to the betterment of health care in Arkansas. The event kicked off with the induction of the 2018-19 AMS President, Lee Archer, MD, of Little Rock. An accomplished neurologist and chair of the UAMS Department of Neurology, Dr. Archer is known for his great intelligence, kindness, professionalism, and leadership.
