The Introducer Volume 1 | Page 25

The son of former NFL Rams quarterback great, Roman Gabriel, Jr., Roman, III inherited a serious talent for the game, with a history that includes quarterbacking at the University of New Mexico, then participating in the 1982 Senior Bowl before signing as a free agent in the 1982 draft by the Oakland Raiders. A year later, he played for the United States Football League’s Boston Breakers, moving forward to take a job as an assistant football coach at Arizona Western College. A neck injury cut short Roman’s football career, but it was just the beginning of his true calling.

In 2003, Roman and his wife, Marsha, founded Sold Out Youth Ministries, committed to reaching the next generation of youth and family with the mission of inspiring people to reach their potential. They accomplish this through educating, encouraging, and challenging youth with positive life skills, the use of groundbreaking technology, and interactive online learning. Since 2012, the Sold Out School Alcohol, Abstinence and Character Program (www.soldouttv.com) has impacted many thousands of students to pledge a life that is alcohol and drug free.
