Probably the most important characteristic to know about Tony is that he is a patriot and a dedicated supporter of U.S. military and the law enforcement community. That fact is tethered to Tony’s early service in the United States Marine Corps, a career path inspired by his late father, Dominic, also a Marine, having served in Iwo Jima and Guadalcanal with commendation from President Reagan. Four of Tony’s family members served in the New York Police Department; among them a fatality and a paralyzing injury from service. With everything that Tony does, there’s a visible heart that relates back to this particular life experience.

Tony’s journey into the entertainment industry, just like, his previous career, was inspired by his father, who acted in many movies (some in the silent era) alongside veteran talent to include Tim McCoy, Buck Jones, and Tom Mix. An accomplished horseman, Dominic, taught a young Judy Garland how to ride a horse, as she was just starting out in the industry. In 1958, Tony entered into a joint partnership with his father, forming Tarantino Productions, moving into sole ownership of the company after his father passed. He began independently producing films and shorts that ultimately garnered him an award in 1999 from the Valley Film Festival for the film, Holy Hollywood.
