Jamie is a three-time world champion sprinter and Olympic medalist turned passionate entrepreneur. The drive he has as an athlete is just as present in his business endeavors, moving him in the direction of highly visible contracts, clients, and partners. His personal network is a who’s who of the global sports scene, but, Jamie’s best asset is his marketing sense and his charisma with the media.
This past spring, Jamie took his latest business, Bid In, (auctions), to the Grand Prix in Monaco, where he managed silent auctions for celebrity-level parties. The profits benefitted UK-based children’s charities. In July, Jamie conducted the silent auction for a fundraiser headlined by Jamaican sprinter and eight-time Olympic gold medalist, Usain Bolt. Jamie has heightened the excitement at these events by introducing new technology-based bidding to provide a more eloquent experience for participants, which results in a, let’s say, “richer” outcome for charities and event hosts.
