HISTORY ACTIVITY Health during the Industrial Revolution A) Three health problems: 1. The pollution during the industrial revolution caused many health problems with the coal, and they didn’t care how many people died as long as they were working with the machines. 2. Diseases back then cause many health problems, because they had low hygiene and expected the disease to cure by itself. 3. Coal cause many breathing problems and affected their health and the respiratory system in a really complex way. B) - When you breathe coal, you get sick and have breathing problems with the respiratory system. - When the water was polluted by the industries and people drank it, they got infections and died really fast. -If the soil was with pollution, the plants grew but in an unhealthy way, and people ate that food that caused them problems or didn’t gave them vitamins enough. - The hygiene of the bathroom, they left bacteria there so it was really dirty and when someone goes there it gets infected by all the bacteria that’s in the bathroom.
