Opening Shots All-AJGA U.S. squad retains Junior Ryder Cup An all-AJGA United States squad retained the Junior Ryder Cup after a 16-8 victory at Blairgowrie Golf Club in Scotland. After taking a three-point lead during the first day, the U.S. won 8.5 of the 12 possible points in singles matches, with Amy Lee clinching the winning point, 6 and 5. Dossey, Hollis take on royal competition Duo rubs shoulders with HRH Prince Andrew at Duke of York Young Champions Trophy Cooper Dossey of Austin, Texas and Jillian Hollis of Rocky River, Ohio, represented the United States at the Duke of York Young Champions Trophy, where boys and girls from approximately 30 countries competed for the same trophy. Hollis placed 10th and Dossey tied for 21st in the competition that was shortened due to fog. This is the sixth year the AJGA has sent champions to compete.
