Both articles explain how digital games are inspired by art, however the article by Roxanne Brien only talks about a few surrealist artists, but she talks about the relationship between surrealist art and the gaming experience for each game she reviews (Argyll Free Press, online article, 2015). Jack Yarwood is trying to be objective in the journal when he writes a lot more about how different art movements have inspired digital games and mentions the artist’s names and their work (VICE, online article, 2015). He explained how artistic inspiration was used in digital games compare to Roxanne is not explaining enough (Argyll Free Press, online article, 2015).
