THE INFLUENCE OF WELL-KNOWN ARTIST WORK ON GAME DESIGN | Page 4

The Critical Argued Research Document (CARD) is about "How adds the use of the well-known artist's work value to the digital games design?" It will look at how games such as Assassin Creed Chronicles, Journey and the Monument Valley have all made references to art. These make use of the artist’s visions of architecture, characters and scenery. The artist, visual artwork supports the genres used by digital gamers, when making horror games, puzzle-platformer games and action-adventure games.

The CARD will explain how the research can also be linked with the practice outcome which is a called Heron. Heron is based on mathematical principles, using an origami structure in its design. This game references a surrealist artist called George de Chirico. His surrealist work goes really well with the origami prism world for the game.
