A Statewide 3-day conference for community—mums, dads,
grandparents, aunties and uncles as well as Aboriginal workers and
service providers and those who work with community
Increase your knowledge of the family law system and pathways across the Family Law Courts, the
Children’s Court of NSW and the Criminal Courts.
Come and learn what different services can be accessed. This will help in better outcomes for
Aboriginal children and their families.
Guest speakers include representatives from the Family Court of Australia and the Federal Circuit
Court of Australia as well as the District Court, the Local Courts, the Children’s Court and NCAT
(NSW Civil & Admin Tribunal).
There will be presentations and videos from families that have been through the Care &
Protection process telling their stories.
