Orlando, FL-based KINGS COUNTY creates hard-hitting rock with infectious hooks. Inspired by an eclectic combination of The Beatles and 70’s rock super groups, their songs blend edgy hard rock with strong melodies. The band’s music is somewhat reminiscent of 90's hard rock artists, but with a decidedly modern twist.

The core of the band formed in the mid 90's on Long Island, NY. They all came from different original projects and knew of each other in the NY music scene. Vocalist/ Bassist Rob Dexter decided to start a cover band, making money at night while working on new original ideas during the day.

Rob knew Guitarist Bill Kania from a past project when they played together with Illusionist Criss Angel. Bill knew vocalist/ guitarist Steve Bell and recommended him to join the band. They picked up a local drummer and we were on our way. Before long the band began to create a huge following in the New York Tri State area. Their big break came when someone from The Disney Corporation saw them perform at a ski resort in Vermont and asked if they’d be interested in playing for Disney as a house band, they took the offer and in the beginning of 2000 played their first show, New Years Eve 1999 along with Styx, Hootie and the Blowfish and the B 52's.

Writing songs for their new album kind of just dropped into their lap. They were offered the opening slot for Ted Nugent in Orlando, FL in 2017 after concert promoters Live Nation heard KINGS COUNTY’s song “Blood Stained Adrenaline”. After rave reviews, this inspired them to continue writing songs and creating new music that had a heavy feel but with melodic and catchy hooks. After 2 years they took 9 of their strongest songs and decided it would be a great time to let the world hear them.

iHeart Radio Music winners (2018) for their song “Take It or Leave it” Opening slot for Bon Jovi @ The Amway Center in Orlando, FL. (sold out) This was a game changer for the band and its future. Stellar press reviews of the band’s performance at the Bon Jovi show brought the band's name into the national marketplace.
