What is the hardest thing about being an Independent musician?

The hardest thing about being an Independant artist is getting people to come out to your shows. Most people in Charlotte don't go out to listen to live music by random bands or new artists. If they are going to pay to see someone, it's gonna be someone already know and probably a house hold name.

I love your song "Dodged by your Bullet” great sound and well produced, are you planning to make a music video for this song?

At some point maybe. My team and I want to figure out what song is going to be my first Single and we'll make a music video to which ever one that will be, so maybe it will be Dodged Your Bullet, you never know!

Where is your favourite place to go in Charlotte NC?

I love going to South Park Mall. I love shopping and they have some awesome Stores and restaurants there. I also really like going to Amelie's. It's a 24 hour bakery and my friends and I usually go really late at night. My favorite things to get there are a Chai Tea Latte and Crème brûlée.

When you are not performing or writing music, what do you like to do?

I like to work out, and go to Lake Norman, or Downtown Charlotte with my friends.

What music do you like to listen to?

I like to listen to all types of music. Country, pop, rap, rock, all of if! I'll listen to anything if it's good.

If you were not a musician, what career path do you think you would have chosen?

I think I would be in school to be a nurse. My mom was a nurse and my dad is a doctor, and I've shadowed him a few times in the hospital and it just seems like something I would be good at. Blood doesn't bother me and I would love to really be hands on when it comes to helping someone who's sick or injured.

Another song I heard you sing on your Web page was "What’s Up" by Four Non Blondes it also happens to be one of my Favourite songs! Its a very hard song to sing and because of your great vocal range, you sang it well! My question to you is are you thinking of recording this song Taylor Centers style at a later date?

That song is one of my favorite to songs of all time to sing. I feel like it shows a more gritty and unpolished side of my voice. I haven't thought about recording it but I would never say never!

If you could chose to collaborate with anyone living or dead, who would you chose and why?

If I could collaborate with anyone it would probably be Justin Bieber. I was a HUGE Justin Bieber fan growing up and it was always something I wanted to do. And not just because he's hot;) I think people really underestimate how talented he really is. And I think it would be cool to collide his pop/R&B sound with my country sound.

Whats coming up in the near future for Taylor Centers?

I will be in Nashville A LOT this next year, working with some really talented song writers, and working on my performance ability. Also, expect to hear a lot of new music!
