I was a big guy I got a phone call and asked if I could move a Stutor 24 track analog monster into this thing and you know, hung out a little bit. I convinced Stacy that we still had more songs to do. I am really thankful for him because he believed in me and put us in the studio again with a very limited budget.

We had a little budget and we got it done. So we did another ten songs. It was neat to watch Stacy work. It was some magic I had seen. Him flipping guitar solos backwards. Pulling some really cool effects on my vocals.

Now this is from 1991. Now we jump to '95. The technology's a little changed. Our first album everybody was trying to press analog on over to digital. Then here we are taking analog. Fast forward to today and the new album 'Oxymoron' that we did, it's been a lot of changes. I guess Stacy's been a part of that the whole time.

Here we are - 26 years later - and both the band and Stacy are back in the studio for the third time. Please tell us what you both did during the time before. Let's start with you, Stacy .

Stacy: Well, what I've done, I since moved from Virginia Beach. We moved a couple of times. I ended up marrying the studio manager from Virginia Beach and we went down to Florida. I worked out of there, the Miami area for a while. I got to go to Criteria Studios where I met the Bee Gees and work in the studio and play pinball with those guys every day. All the bands that were in and out of Criteria.

Then back in the early 2000's we moved out to the west coast. It was a little more opportunistic for me to move instead of staying down in Florida. I was starting to get a little lazy and enjoying life too much. So we got out to L.A.

I still, throughout my whole tenure of doing this, have pushed for Canadian talent to kind of, believe in yourself. You can get the hell out of that Canada thing if you want to.

So I've worked with several Canadian bands. Kingston? Aren't you in Ontario somewhere? Right now, for instance, two weeks ago,

I just flew up there. I signed up Chelsey Danfield from Maidstone, Ontario. I've met with a guy named Christian Vay who is probably one of the best guitarists I have ever heard in my life. He's a young 19 year old from Windsor, Ontario. And also negotiating with Brian Good of The Good Brothers. We might be doing something together as well. So, I'm still helping a lot of the Canadian artists out. Chelsey and I, as a matter of fact, will be in Nashville July 11th through 16th doing her album down there. She's a girl from Maidstone, Ontario. She's going to school up in Kitchener somewhere but that's all I got. I've been lucky enough to live vicariously as a musician though all the bands I produce and there's been quite a few of them. Now I'm down in Mission, just a little south of Los Angeles. I don't what kind of exposure you guys have but if anybody wants to send me any stuff or any ideas they can always e-mail me at my company: [email protected] and I'll bet back to each and everyone of your listeners if they have anything to say.
