To quote ‘The A-Team’, ‘we love it when a plan comes together’, and it seems the combination of Kirsten, Gavin and Al, is a match made in heaven. The song sounds both modern and retro at the same time, and is infectiously catchy.

It was a great project to work on, and one that we will play back often.

From a very young age, he has been interested in writing, from short stories and poems in his school years, and then moving on to study the art of writing lyrics, to become the accomplished lyricist that he is today.

Back in 2011, Gavin was encouraged to take up song writing and was introduced to several record producers, who could help him do this whilst over-looking his condition.

He now collaborates with some of the most musically talented people within South Wales, namely, Carl Simmonds in Pontypool, South Wales, who was the musical director for The BBC Fame Academy Series between 2003 - 2007, Jeff Rose, the lead guitarist of Newport band Dubwar and lately the versatile Al Steele of Shabbey Road Studios in Caerphilly, South Wales, who has toured with The Korgis, and The Sound of The Supremes.

Since then, between them, they have released a number of singles. Two of which have enjoyed airtime on BBC Radio Wales, and both have received top reviews. Gavin and Al’s seasonal song Magic of Christmas, has received over 55,000 views on Facebook and You Tube in total and was played at various venues in the UK and abroad, throughout Christmas 2015, including the Millennium Stadium’s President’s Suite.

So how did the track Come Together?

Gavin Clifton: A few months back Kirsten contacted me asking if I would be interested in writing a song for her, so I asked her to send me some samples and video links and after listening and watching a few, I instantly got the feeling that this young lady was a true professional.

Then I read the many wonderful stories about her dedication to fund raising for the armed forces and other charities, I instantly said yes.
