In a lot of places around the world, your age can become a deterrent. Under 21? No bars for you. Are you under 19? Then, no, you cannot buy cigarettes (at least here in Canada). Only 35? Then, sadly, you cannot join the over 50 club. No matter what your age, there’s always something that prevents you from participating, based on your age. It’s one of the so called ‘norms’ of the world.
However, when it comes to entertainment, those ‘norms’ get thrown to the wayside. Age has no restrictions when it comes to talent and the ability to appease the masses. Actors still star in movies or perform on stage well into their 90’s. Ageless rockers like Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger and Elliot Schneider still wow the crowds despite being well into their late 60’s and early 70’s. The one thing they have in common? They all started off at a very young age and went on to very long and successful careers.
There’s literally hundreds of thousands of aspiring young artists hoping to make their mark on the world and enjoy years and years of success. The young lad you are about to meet is certainly one of them.
Introducing 14 year old, Jack Rose. Singer/songwriter, actor and radio dj from the UK. Originally from Whitechapel in London’s east end, Jack now resides in Kent. Jack has released 3 singles to date. The song ‘Lost’ made its debut in September of 2015, released exclusively on iTunes. He quickly followed that up with ‘Chasing Cars’ in December of the same year with the help of producer KC Thorpe from Big Jam Studios. Jack’s acting abilities became apparent when ‘Chasing Cars’ was made into a video by renowned film and music video director Mark J Blackman. It was produced by Inspiration Films. He’s just released his latest single, ‘Pretty in Pictures’ written and co-produced by Jack, again working alongside KC Thorpe. The track was mastered at the world famous "Abbey Road Studios" in London by award-winning mastering engineer, Frank Arkwright. Jack is planning on releasing his first EP entitled "Pretty Pictures, The Remix EP" on May 30th this year, featuring remixes from top DJs and producers such as DJ Fen (Ramsey & Fen)
