The band has performed with Blue Oyster Cult, Pat Travers, Robin Trower, Rick Derringer,Molly Hatchet, Robby Krieger, Zebra, Johnny Winter, Jason&The Scorchers, Bad English , J.Geils , John has shared the stage with-Blue Oyster Cult,Black foot,Vince Neil,Bret Micheals,Tom Keifer,Richie Scarlet,U.F.O. AND MANY MORE!Their live shows have been called foot stompin' adrenaline soaked extravaganzas, with John being compared to Angus Young, Roy Buchannan, Stevie Ray and more.

When he was 10 years old he got an electric guitar and started banging on it,By the time he was 13 He was playing in local clubs.Johnny played in various bands till he was 18 and The formed The John Morse Band{Blues Guitar Rock}.He realeased his first CD in 1999 Titled Life on The Bottle on EMI Records,Later followed By a Live cd on Sony/BMG.
His first recording was playing lead guitar on an independent 45 when he was 16 entitled Journey To The Center of Cohoes,The b Side was Titled In Your Eyes ,Both songs were written by Bob Curran who admired Johnny's skills and brought the young Lad in to play lead Guitar. After that Johnny Toured extensivley and Has done Shows In Ireland as well as all over the U.S.
He came back to Cohoes and kept The John Morse Band Going with many Different members,The most prominate being Patrick McNulty on Bass guitar who still plays with Johnny till this day and Drummer Jim Fisk Who Passed away Jan.11 2013.Knowing That Jimmy would want the band to carry on Johnny quickly Hired John Lafluer (now deceased) on drums and continued to play All over New York State.
In 2008 Johnny formed StarStruck a Hard Rock Band That will be recording and Touring in 2014 .
Starstruck Includes John-Guitar,Dan McCann-Drums,Marc Shwager Vocals and Mark Johnston-Bass.Johnny recently Hired 13 year old Guitar whiz Joey {Thunderchild}Pettinato as a second Guitarist.The Band continues to wow crowds around the Tri-State Area of New York.
The band is making plans to record in the near future. Johnny has opened shows for Bad English,
Blue Oyster Cult, Robin Trower, Pat Travers, Rick Derringer, Tommy Tutone, Missing Persons, Blackfoot, U.F.O. Bret Michaels, Vince Neil and Tom Keifer.
