To All Of Our Readers,
Hey Family!
These issues creep up on me fast!
Before you know it, its time to do
another one!
With that being said, we planned on
this issue for awhile as Marlon Wayans
has been quietly building up some
steam for all of his projects with his
new TV show on NBC, his new film on
Netflix, and his yet to be special that
he’s currently trying to move forward
with. As we all know, this keeps him
extremely busy, and the comedy
world changes everyday.
Also the comedy world mourned the
passing of two comedy greats; Dick
Gregory and Jerry Lewis. I don’t have
enough space to expound on what
Mr. Gregory did for me years ago
when I was starting out, but I can at
least say his kind words kept me
going. Mr. Lewis was as icon whom I
never met face to face, as I had
hoped to do one day, but alas that
will never happen. He was extremely
kind to a lot of folks also including me,
and his words and efforts blessed a
lot of people.
Hopefully I learned that with grit,
grind, and determination WE can
accomplish anything.
