Nestle NYC Hackathon 2017

Professor Mike was invited by Nestle to help organize and keynote their first ever hackathon, and to serve as chief mentor to participants. He brought 25 of his Hult students from Boston to NYC to compete in their SKIN Shield technology hackathon, designed to address key challenges in skin health and wellness. While all Hult student teams performed admirably with Professor Mike’s hands-on mentorship, one of the Hult team’s won in the Skin Health and Nutrition challenge track, winning a $5000 USD prize.

Going Global

A great professor makes learning fun; as stimulating, engaging lessons are pivotal to a student’s academic success. Professor Mike creates a powerful and exciting environment for learning that captures Hultian's fascination; we're both deeply engaged and challenged.

Hult Student Experience

This year 8 recently graduated HULT alumni from across our Boston, San Francisco, and London campuses joined Professor Mike at the Pirelli Management Institute in Milan, Italy. This visit had a dual purpose. First, to educate 40 executives from Pirelli on how to market to socially and environmentally conscious millennials in the era of ride-hailing and car sharing and escalating concern about carbon emissions global warming and. Second, to provide Hultians first hand exposure to how senior executives think about managing innovation. The course which Professor Mike led — “Change Agility” - focused on understanding the world as it now is given dramatic adoption of social and, digital media, building an adaptive culture conducive to consistent innovation. This served to provide our Hult alumni with great “real world” exposure and networking opportunities with the executive leaders of Pirelli. Hultians learned key lessons executive leaders use today.
